swatches and reviews: revlon lip butter in tutti frutti, nyx round lipstick in thalia and nyx slim lip pencil in prune

First up is Revlon's (marvelous, if I do say so myself) Lip butter in the shade "Tutti Frutti." This lip butter is like the rest, in that it doesn't have to be very opaque unless you want it to be. A quick swipe gives a beautiful, almost effortless wash of color and a few more will build the shade up to a nice peachy hue. I have a feeling this will be a staple in my summer lip essentials.

Next is NYX's Round Lipstick in the shade "Thalia." I think I should start out by saying that I love the name! It suits the shade perfectly. Aside from that, the formulation of this lipstick is one of my favorites (possibly of all time). It goes on opaque, but is super hydrating and isn't tacky. I'm a big fan of lip products that let me mush my lips together without feeling like I've dipped them in honey. The shade is also just a smidgen darker than my natural lips, so it's got that barely-there nude thing goin' on.

Last one is NYX's slim lip pencil in the shade "Prune." I bought this specifically to put under my MAC lipstick that was sheerer than I wanted it to be (the Archie's Girls collection lipstick "Boyfriend Stealer," if you're curious). While I should've drawn it on a little bit more, I think it does the job. I'll have to give it a field test (aka wear it for a night out or something along those lines) to see if it really holds up, but as far as I can tell it works pretty well for a pencil under $5.

I got all these during Ulta's 20% off event. Which really isn't an event, but a week or so when they release a coupon for 20% off your entire purchase. Usually it doesn't include prestige brands, so just keep that in mind if you plan on taking advantage of it in the future.

I have some more reviews planned for the near future! But as always, if you have any requests or things you'd like to see first, comments are appreciated and encouraged :)
